FOOD/WATER

You are required to supply your own food for your dog during their stay. We do this because changing diets can cause havoc on your dogs digestive system, so we strive to provide them with the same comforts as they get at home.

We do provide stainless steel water and food bowls, and will keep your dog on the same feeding schedule as they are accustomed to.

Fresh water is available in their kennels at all times.

VACCINATIONS

Your dog is required to be up to date on the following vaccinations. Paper proof must be given from your vet of all the shots and their expiration dates. There are no exceptions to this rule. If you do not provide these records on drop off, you will be turned away.

Required vaccinations are Rabies, Distemper, and Kennel Cough (Bordetella).

Kennel Cough shots are recommended to be given 2 weeks before their stay.

TREATS/BEDDING

You are welcome to supply bowls, treats, toys and bedding for your dog/s during the stay.

Please do not provide treats your dog is not used to having on a regular basis.  It is common for people to want to bring their dog something special while they are gone, but this causes upset stomachs so we ask you select the same bones, treats or chews your dog is used to having.

We attempt to keep any bedding and toys you bring with as clean as possible but accidents happen. If the bedding you provide is too large for our laundry and requires cleaning, we will send it home bagged up for you. We are not responsible for destroyed bedding or toys.

MEDICATIONS

Dogs that require medication are welcome. You will be asked to provide us with a medication schedule when you drop off your dog/s and we will do our best to match their normal medication routine.

SHARED KENNELS

Dogs from the same household can share a kennel for a reduced rate, at your own risk. If your dogs have behavior issues with one another at home, please do not attempt to board them in the same kennel.

We cannot board dogs together in the same kennel for friends or other family members.

We do not board cats or other small animals.

EMERGENCIES

In case of a medical emergency while in our care, we will contact the vet whose name and number on the vaccination records you provide, unless another vet is preferred for care. Be sure to give us this information for your file.  If your vet is unavailable, we will use a vet of our choosing. We will do our best to contact you before any  veterinary fees are accumulated or medical decisions made.

BEHAVIORS

Please be sure to inform us of any behaviors your dog/s has we may need to be aware of. Some owners do not realize the importance of sharing this behavior information. Please understand the reason we need this information is to keep your dog safe.
